mike tested positive for influenza at the drs. this morning.

please pray with us that levi and i can remain healthy...

on the plus side, we save on flu shots?!?

indian summer

We have been sick over the weekend. Mike was terribly sick Thursday night into Friday morning, that resulted in him passing out, us in the urgent care, and all they could say was they believed his fever was so high he blacked out... oy.

Anyway, before the said sickos, I had an unexpected evening off, so we took advantage and headed to the park to enjoy the unseasonably warm weather we've been having...

new design

i changed my blog design again.
i don't know that i like it.

i grew partial to that header thing at the top...
the only problem is that it matches one design and i'm tired of it...
i'm going to leave it for the moment..
anyone know how to make those? i'd love to learn.

i really should blog about something more exciting.

a home

seeing these makes me happy...

In Levi's room there are these random shelves built into the wall. I presume, a small taste of what this home looked like years ago. I pondered them for a while, left them empty, but they sit right above Levi's changing table. then, one day it occurred to me, diapers!

I love this little place. It makes me smile everytime I look at it.

monkey see

monkey do!

Levi's halloween costume came in the mail today. He is going to be a monkey, so fitting, being that he is a monkey, and I call him monkey. I of course had to try it on him, and he of course proceeded to scream like a banchee er... monkey.

Hopefully he decides he likes it by halloween. We keeping asking him...

Our FLIP video camera had an accident.
Partially mama bears fault, partially the unknown gremlin's fault. (who i presume to be levi)

I had plugged it in and was downloading videos onto the computer,and when I finished, I had forgotten to uplug it. Our camera plugs directly into the camera off of the USB that's attached. We went on with our lives, until the next day, when I noticed our computer was off, and then noticed the tower was tipped sideways... and then realized that our video camera was still plugged in, but somehow it didn't move with the tower, and it twisted and turned the USB cable all around... we got it back in place, but it won't recognize the camera in the computer.

The only consoling fact is that we bought the FLIP because it wasn't crazy expensive, and we didn't want something to happen to a more expensive camera we might have bought.

argh.
