Levi reads!

My mama heart is proud tonight. Levi has been ready and wanting to read for quite a while now. Thanks to a dear friend, we've been working hard on it for about a week.

Tonight?

He read his first short story. I, of course, painfully recorded the entire 10 minutes it took us to get through 5 pages, but you know what? 

He did it! 

My 4 year old son, who I swear was just born, read a book! How on earth did that happen? When did that happen? I'm overwhelmed and so thrilled for him as he begins this new chapter (ha!) in his life.  And reading? well it opens the doors to everything and we couldn't prouder of him than we are tonight.

Library Love

This is the current stack of books we have checked out from the library, and that was with me limiting what we brought home.
