talking up a storm!

i'm on a posting kick!

i wanted to record levi's new found talking.
we have been waiting and waiting for what seems forever for him to start using words. we have been using sign language with him since he was little, and he knows several words in ASL.

he finally started using word words. it was just a couple words at first, and in the past week, it's exploded. it seems he picks up a new word every day.
currently he says.

mama (which is both mike and i) :)
wa-wa (water)
ba.....which can be ball, balloon, bath... depending on what he's pointing at. :)
dah (dog)
cat
shzzz (shoes)
side (outside)
owers (flowers)
trih (trees)
cah.. which is cup, though i think he knows coffee as well... :)
pah (pony)
hot (by far his FAVORITE word) if we tell him to not touch something, it's automatically hot! :)
cold
door

i think that's it, as far asi can remember, though i'm sure there is more.
it's so amazing to see him form words every day. mike said the other day, it's crazy to watch him learn language, and know that some day he'll have an intellectual conversation with us.

my favorite word, of course, is mama. :)
