1) I feel like i'm going crazy. i have been up off and on since 1:30 this morning. it is now almost 5. enough said?
2) yesterday mike and i decided to drive to frankenmuth, michigan. it's a small little bavarian town about an hour and a half from here. our first stop was bronners a fun christmas store. last year, mike and i wanted to get an ornament for our may baby, but never found something that felt right. well, bronners, is the perfect place to find something. we ended up settling on a green christmas bulb with small tiny snowflakes.. the green was perfect since emerald is may's birthstone, and the snowflakes.. just felt right for us.
next up, we headed over to birch run which is a huge outlet mall. we were mostly heading there because there is a pottery barn there. we have simply fallen in love with pottery barn bedding. we look at it constantly online, so we thought we'd see what it looked like in person. unfortunately they didn't have exactly what we wanted, but we did really love the quality of it, and i think we'll definitely buy it from there, but probably online somewhere. we also shopped around and got a good deal a snowsuit for the baby. we've been looking around for one, and found one at children's place what a fun store!
3) these are a few pictures from our trip up north... enjoy!

your trip looks like it was a lot of fun!! and trips to frankenmuth are always great! my gram lives there :)
Thanks for the comment :) To say we're on pin and needles is putting it mildly! We are a bit calmer now that we've seen a heartbeat but I go off my medication next week and I'm terrified that I'll miscarry.
Mom is MUCH better, thanks! She had a stent put in last week as an almost-emergency procedure because the largest kidney stone (nearly 1 inch in diameter) is blocking her kidneys. The procedure took a lot longer than expected but she's in A LOT less pain now and not taking Vicodin anymore. She goes next week ( or this week, I can't remember!) for a sonic procedure that will pulverize the large kidney stone. This will allow the smaller ones behind it to eventually pass, with diet and medication.
Thank you for your prayers - they really really need it right now.
How are you feeling these days?
