on a typical day before 9am I....

have gotten ready for the day
said goodbye to mike
fed levi and myself breakfast
gotten levi ready for the day
have put levi down for his first nap.

this morning added to that list was calling poison control.

yup.

poison control.

i walked in on levi sucking on a diffuser that is filled with this pheramone for cats. it's supposed to help keep them calm in stressful situations. we used it when we moved last year and when we had levi, and we're using it again while we begin the move process. (especially since he is going to have to go live away from us for a while) it's a natural pheramone that cats produce so i wasn't in total panic mode, but was definitely a touch panicked.

thankfully poison control was very efficient and prompt and told me in under a minute that neither the liquid or the plastic could harm him.

thank heavens for that!

needless to say, i'll be moving the diffuser.
