new puppies!
a few weeks ago my parents dog died. it was very sad, and she had been a part of our family for about 12 years! as she was dying, my parents swore up and down they wouldn't get another dog. they wanted to be dog free! well, about a week after Maggie died, the talk began to find another dog. This time around though, it would be different. They were going to buy a puppy (which they've never done), buy all the stuff, the crate, the toys, EVERYTHING... so the search began. Well, April and Brian have a Golden Retriever they bought from a local breeder, so on a whim my dad called to see if they had any puppies and low and behold the same mother who had Bella had just had a liter, and thus it began. They were going to get a retriever, with the same parents as Bella!
They went on Saturday to pick out their very own puppy.
They fell in love and will bring her home in 4 weeks.
Puppy is yet to be named, but they are several names in the running.
Payton, Piper, Sage, May, Ruby, Lizzie, Lexi, Sahara,
and a few others I can't remember..
