Have you read this book? It's has about as little of a plot line as you can muster.
The baby kangaroo aptly named Joey (original, right) begins exploring the world. He jumps around, each time hopping a little further. He also sees new things, a bee, a rabbit, a bird. Joey gets scared after meeting each delightful woodland creature, yells "POUCH!", and goes back to where it's safe with his Mama. Eventually he meets another kangaroo. They scare each other, when both yell "POUCH" and then laugh about it. They become friends. The mama's ask if they want in their pouch, and the Joey's reply "no thank you"
The End.
I don't even know how many times we've read this book the last couple of weeks, but somehow even though it's that annoying, I love that he his first favorite book that he asks for repeatedly by name.
